Alena has bred a filly this year which is by Mollinhillhead celebrity and was born on 17/04/09.

Alena has two full sisters, both by collessie cut above, Redcastle Conchita and Redcastle Blossoms Gift. Blossom has only bred us colt foals so far, her latest born on the 02/04/09 by this years Cawdor Cup winner, Roeshall Calypso. The eldest of the colts is now owned by Tommy McAleese, Co – Antrim.

Another notable colt called Dillars Simply the Best owned by Robert Hamilton, Lesmahagow, Lanarkshire. Another notable brood mare we own is Redcastle Miranda, a granddaughter of Parceltown Belinda, a Cawdor Cup winner herself and by Collessie cut above. She bred us Redcastle Pretty Amazing Grace, a yearling in 09,and winner of the Fife show and reserve overall, interbreed Champion of Champions.

Of great excitement to us is our stallion at stud, Great American G W Carver. He was purchased from Great American Clydesdales, Indiana at the world show in Madison Wisconsin. His show career to date was 3rd out of 39 at the world show senior colt foal class. 1st at Michigan Great Lakes and 1st at Toronto winter fair and junior male champion. Since arriving in Scotland he was reserve male champion at Aberdeen 08.

He has lots of bone, foot, feather and moves just like his sire, Great American Ben Franklin. We are very confident he will bring lots to the table. He is jointly owned by ourselves and Ron Brewster of Bandirran fame. We have limited his services this year. Next year we are prepared to offer him to outside mares. We can sell straws or hand breed.
